Jalen Parmele - RB - Dolphins Sep. 24 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins waive RB Parmele
Parmele is still a pretty good prospect, but couldn't crack the game-day roster in Miami. A club like Houston could show interest because Parmele is a one-cut back, but otherwise he should make it to the practice squad.

Kirk Barton - T - Dolphins Sep. 11 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins claim Barton off waivers
Third TE Sean Ryan will be waived later Thursday. Barton's skills are limited enough that he doesn't project as more than a swing-type reserve.

Sean Ryan - TE - Dolphins Sep. 11 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins release TE Ryan
The Fins will roll with Anthony Fasano and David Martin as the only tight ends on their roster, although Ryan may return later if one of them goes down.

Boomer Grigsby - RB - Dolphins Sep. 9 - 12:00 AM et

Grigsby released by Fins
The team is expected to sign Casey Cramer on Tuesday to replace him. The Fins have decided to go without an old-fashioned lead blocker at fullback.

Casey Cramer - RB - Dolphins Sep. 9 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins sign FB Cramer
Cramer replaces Boomer Grisby, who was released after a poor Week 1 showing. He'll try to open up some holes for Ricky and Ronnie.

Evan Mathis - G - Dolphins Sep. 9 - 12:00 AM et

Report: Dolphins sign OG Mathis
Mathis will help replace injured rookie Donald Thomas, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Tyrone Culver - DB - Dolphins Sep. 2 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins sign Culver, waive Thomas
Culver was recently released by the Packers after spending all of 2007 on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Cornerback Joey Thomas and wide receiver Jayson Foster were waived by the Dolphins.

Ricky Williams - RB - Dolphins Aug. 31 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins extend Ricky through '09 season
There's no signing bonus, but Ricky's 2008 salary jumps "significantly" from the originally scheduled $730,000. It's good for Miami's backfield stability, but may bode poorly for Ronnie Brown's future with the team. It also assures that Williams won't depart for his own starting gig even if he has an impressive 2008. Williams is 31, but the lack of recent tread on his tires should allow him to keep his legs. Staying healthy is a different story.

Brandon London - WR - Dolphins Aug. 31 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins get Brandon London
London is unlikely to be more than a fifth receiver this year, but is a good prospect to develop. Armstrong will likely go on Miami's practice squad.

Andy Alleman - G - Dolphins Aug. 31 - 12:00 AM et

Dolphins claim G Alleman
Alleman was New Orleans' third-round pick out of Akron in 2007 and the Dolphins needed the depth at guard, where they're highly inexperienced.
