	Latest News: It's unclear if this had anything to do with Plax's one-game suspension, but he was never charged. Still, Burress' wife filed for restraining orders and claimed "he had grabbed her." She admitted to slapping Plaxico in his face and both restraining orders were dismissed in court. This appears to be more of a personal issue, not something that could get Burress suspended.

	Latest News: T.O. II? Their hard-line stance with Burress is admirable, especially after just giving him a new contract, but the Giants may need to back down a bit. They can afford the missed game at 3-0, but will certainly need Burress to defend their title in the NFL's most difficult division. Agent Drew Rosenhaus says his client was tending to a family matter when he missed a team meeting and intends to get Burress reinstated after the Giants' bye.

	Latest News: Burress failed to show up for a team meeting Monday and he wouldn't answer his phone Tuesday. When Burress met with Tom Coughlin Wednesday, his excuse for missing the time during New York's bye week didn't fly. Burress will be suspended pay this week and miss 5 against Seattle.
